Hi, my name is Hamish. I'm an enthusiastic creator who loves working across many art mediums. I would love to be the one who promotes your next big idea!
Experience.
My primary experience is within marketing and the creative fields — however I did once work delivering magazines and I love a deep philosophical conversation. I currently work in marketing for Christian Schools Tasmania, an association of four private schools in the greater Hobart area.
My Story.
My primary passion is directing films, an art I discovered at a young age. My ultimate dream is to direct feature length films (especially in the fantasy/sci-fi genre).
I love producing music too. I first attempted composing when I began to get frustrated by the lack of authentic sounding stock music. When making your own films, one can waste hours searching just for one piece of stock music that rarely represents what is in your head.
Writing is a medium that came rather naturally to me, I think. As I love creating, it is a great way to get what's in my head out. After all, not all of us have a multi-million dollar budget for special effects and building entire fantasy worlds. I enjoy writing as it requires no money, only your thoughts and your ability to communicate them!
